Entrance Exams

Gaining admission to top schools and universities in the US, UK and UAE can often require a student to sit an entrance exam. These entrance exams follow particular formats and in order for a student to have the best chance of admission to their target schools, specific preparation for the entrance exam they are sitting is advisable. We have helped students gain admission to schools such as Eton College, Westminster School, Heathfield School, North London Collegiate School, Dulwich College, Seven Oaks, Cheltenham Ladies College, Heathfield School, Dubai College, Horace Mann School, Trinity School, Philip Exeter School, The Groton School, The Thacher School, The Governors Academy, St. Paul’s school and more.

Students are often made to sit entrance exams such as the 7+, 8+, 10+, 11+, 12+, 13+, 16+ (sixth form entry) and often sit interviews. VP The Service can provide experienced entrance exam tutors in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and London that have prepared students for those competitive and selective schools. Our tutors can also assist by providing Mock interviews to help a student feel better prepared when asked those tricky questions by admissions officers and teachers.

IB Curriculum

The IB Curriculum is becoming increasingly prominent amongst schools in the UK and UAE and it can be challenging to find a tutor that is able to assist that has the appropriate curriculum knowledge. Whether you need a tutor for PYP, MYP or the IBDP, VP The Service can ease your concerns as we can provide IB tutors that have active experience of the curriculum. Our tutors are primary and subject specialists so can help students that are studying anything from Standard Level to Higher level, or even ab initio languages or maths studies for example. Students will at some point also face having to write an extended essay (EE) or internal assessments (IA’s) during their IB Diploma programme. We have IB tutors that can assist with these elements as well as Theory of Knowledge (TOK) essays.

Studying at university can see some students engage with content knowledge that they have never before covered. VP The Service provides subject specialist Masters and PhD students and lecturers to help our under-graduate and postgraduate students with their studies. Our university tutors can assist you in perfecting your thesis or dissertation, assist you in understanding content from new university modules or help guide you on particular essays or research projects.
